Well, the royal couple will not be registering. And no, I am not referring to Blake and I. According to InStyle magazine Prince William and Kate Middleton will not have a registry. In lieu of gifts, they are asking for charitable donations. If they did register, we probably wouldn’t be able to see the list anyway.
When Prince Charles and Diana got married, they registered at a local specialty shop, but only those who were approved by Buckingham Palace could view the registry and purchase gifts. The two received over 6,000 wedding gifts!
It is pretty hard to imagine the soon-to-be princess dashing around with a scanner and her prince following behind, but Blake and I really enjoyed it! We registered at three different places to accommodate our guests. We had a lot of fun running through the stores, talking about things we liked or didn’t like, and picturing items in our home!
We received our first gift a few weeks after we were engaged. My sweet grandmother gave us our china. It was such an exciting gift to get, and one that I will always remember. I am so glad to have something timeless from my grandmother that will stay in our new family for years to come.

Even though they haven’t registered, Prince William and Kate Middleton will undoubtedly receive some great gifts to start off their lives together. Only a few short months until their wedding: Will you be watching?? Have a great weekend everyone!
