What I'm Loving Wednesday!

Hello from Paris! We have some down time before the day starts this morning, so I thought I would do a quick post. Although I will be back with a full report of our trip next week, here are a few small things I'm loving so far. 

1. I'm loving the Hummingbird Bakery. This bakery is known throughout London for their delicious cupcakes. The place is always packed and often there are people waiting {or queuing as they would say in London} outside the door. We stopped here after wandering around South Kensington to get a Pink Vanilla cupcake and a Chocolate Chocolate cupcake. 

2. I'm loving afternoon tea. Our last day in London we had afternoon tea at Claridge's Hotel in Mayfair. The afternoon tea comes with your choice of tea, tea sandwiches, scones, and different pastries. As a little souvenir they give you a bag of the tea you ordered in a cute Claridge's tin box. One of the best parts of the meal was a jelly for the scones called Marco Polo. It was unlike anything I had tried before. The jelly is a mixture of berries and a specific kind of tea leaf. We loved it so much that we ended up buying a jar to bring back to the States!

3. I'm loving English Truffles. We had some English Truffles at Harrods while perusing around the food hall, and also got some to go.  They boxed our chocolates in cute little boxes that hold only a single truffle. I hope I can make it six more days without eating all of them so I can have some back in Nashville!

4. I'm loving Parisian croissants and coffee. Paris is filled with cute cafes and delicious croissants! I'm already looking forward to breakfast tomorrow.

5. I'm loving Coca Cola Light. This tastes sooo different than Diet Coke! They must use a different syrup or a different syrup to soda ratio. I wish we could get it back home!

5. Of course, I'm loving my fiance who has gone above and beyond to make this trip amazing so far! 

I can't wait to see what the last few days in Paris and Barcelona have in store for us!
