Hello Paris!

After spending 3 days in London, we hopped on the Eurostar train to Paris. Here are some of my favorite things that we did: 

1. We visited the Sainte Chapelle, the Notre Dame, and the Arc de Triomphe.

2. We walked through the Luxembourg Gardens {it was a gorgeous day} and stopped for some gelato along the river. The gelato in Paris is amazing, and I definitely ate way too much of it while we were there.

3. We traveled into the countryside to visit the Palace of Versailles. The inside of the palace is so extravagant, and the gardens are incredibly beautiful. There is so much history there, and it was fun to walk around the little town of Versailles.

4. We visited an area of Paris called Montmartre. This might have been my favorite part of the trip. Montmartre is an artsy part of town with lots of restaurants and shops. After having lunch outside at a brasserie, we walked through the art district and stopped to get our portraits drawn. We also visited the Sacre Coeur, a church in the area. The church steps were filled with people watching entertainers and street performers.

5. We walked down the Champs Elysees. This road is one of the major shopping streets in Paris. We stopped at a place called Laduree, a famous macaroon bakery shop. The macaroons were so tasty and there were so many different flavors to chose from. You could even make an entire wedding cake out of the macaroons!

6. We visited the Louvre .

7. We ate lunch in the Jewish district. They had some amazinggg falafel!

8. We had dinner on top of the Eiffel Tower. The food was incredible and so was the view. It was an unforgettable experience.
