Weekend Festivities

This weekend marks the kick off of our engagement festivities. Above is the invitation to our first engagement party. It looks kind of bare because I blurred out all the personal information, but the invitation is super cute all filled in, I promise! The party will be at my childhood home in New York, and my amazing parents have worked really hard to make it extra special. Although I don't know all the details of the party, I do know there will be tons of personal touches and decorations!  It will be a weekend filled with family, friends, and lots of fun!

Tomorrow morning my MOHs and I are flying into New York. We have an appointment Friday afternoon in New York City to do some wedding dress shopping! Tomorrow night, we will be meeting up with my family and Blake's family {Blake included} for dinner and a Broadway show. 

For the events on Saturday morning, here is the Paperless Post itinerary that my mom sent out to the ladies:

 

Saturday night, the party will start at seven o'clock. We've got 100 confirmed guests and we're ready for drinks, dinner, and dancing. Since Blake and I both attended Vanderbilt University, it will be like a mini reunion for our college friends. I am also very excited for my high school, college, and law school friends to all come together in one place! I am extremely blessed to have so many people to celebrate with.
