This past weekend we did a whole lot of nothing, but it was great because I was in serious need of some rest and relaxation. Although Blake and I both studied for exams during the days {yuck!}, we made sure to relax and unwind at night.
We made some quick and easy meals:
On Friday, we made homemade pizza for dinner. This is soo simple to make! All you need is pre-made pizza dough, pizza sauce, cheese and toppings. After you assemble the pizza, let it cook in the oven for about 15 minutes or until it looks done. This is one of my favorite quick meals!
On Saturday, we made pulled pork. This recipe requires minimal work also because the pork is cooked in the crockpot! Just put the meat, covered with lots of bbq sauce {we love Sweet Baby Ray's}, in the slow cooker for about six hours. After six hours, it is ready to be pulled and put on sandwiches. I also made a really easy mac and cheese :)
We ran some important errands:
We picked up the invitations for our upcoming engagement party in Nashville. I am so pleased and can't wait for them to go out!
I had some fun in Sephora and got a bunch of new products to try! Oh, it's the little things...
We celebrated Easter:

We saw the Preds win:
Well, I watched on my TV, but Blake went to the game. They made it past the first round of playoff's. How exciting!

Looks like my kinda weekend!! I love the invitations for your engagement party, they look so nice - I'm sure you two are super excited, it's the beginning of such an exciting chapter!!
