Over the past few months, I have gotten tons of questions about our wedding. Now that the planning has really taken off, I finally have some answers! Here are my answers to the most frequently asked questions:
1. Were you surprised when Blake proposed? Yes! I was so surprised. Blake and I had looked at rings about three weeks before he proposed, but the jeweler said it would take 8-10 weeks to custom make the ring. Little did I know, Blake had my ring rushed so that I would have no idea he was going to propose when he did. I don't think I even knew what was going on when Blake got down on one knee. It was an incredible moment, and I made sure to actually say yes!

2. When and where will you be getting married? We set the date for March 17, 2012 in New York where my family lives. Hopefully it won't snow, but who knows with that crazy New York weather. We are very excited about the venues. It will be a great night!
3. How big will your wedding be? We want the wedding to be at around 250 people, but once we start making the list I have feeling the number might grow! I just hope we don't go too big. I want to look around and still know everyone there.
4. What are your wedding colors? The colors we are using are light green and light purple. I thought these colors were perfect for a spring wedding and not too summery.
5. What flowers will you use? Well, that is what we have a florist for! We got a sneak preview of our florist's work at our engagement party, and the flowers came out gorgeous! The main flowers she used were roses and calla lilies. I'm sure we will switch it up for the wedding, but the colors will still be the same! I'm very impressed by her work.

6. What will you be serving at your wedding? We will have a cocktail hour with stations and passed hors d'oeuvres, and then a sit down dinner with steak, chicken, and fish options. For dessert we will of course have a wedding cake/groom's cake, and also a venetian dessert bar.

7. How many people are in the wedding parties? Blake and I will each have 8 people in our wedding party. I have 6 Bridesmaids and 2 Maid of Honors.
8. Wait you have two Maid of Honors? Yes! I know its not traditional, but it's what works for me. I am lucky enough to have two ladies in my life that are worthy of the position. One MOH is my college best friend, Kayln, and the other is my law school best friend, Anna. According the the MOHs, they loving having someone to plan with and bounce ideas off of.

9. Will you have a flower girl or ring bearer? We will not be having a ring bearer, but we do have a precious flower girl!

10. Where are you going on your honeymoon? This question still remains unanswered. Since we just went on a trip to Europe this year, we are leaning towards going to an island and relaxing after all this planning!
11. Where will you live after you are married? We plan on living in Nashville, TN. Last week we actually signed a lease for a town home in Green Hills where we will live after we are married. It was super exciting, and now there is so much to do to make it our home!

13. Are you excited? Yes! I cannot wait to marry my best friend.
