This weekend our schedule revolved around two things: golf and Easter! It made for a great weekend, which went by wayyyy too fast. On Thursday, we volunteered to help with a charity golf tournament benefitting pancreatic cancer. The organization, Linda's Hope, hosts a tournament called Putting for Purple (the color for pancreatic cancer). Unfortunately the weather was not cooperating on Thursday, so it ended up being everyone inside the clubhouse drinking beer and watching the Masters. A great afternoon if I must say so myself! After the tournament, a group of us headed over for some margaritas at Chuy's. It was the perfect way to end the night involving lots of cheese dip.
On Friday, Blake and I went on a spontaneous date in East Nashville. We tried out Five Points Pizza and it was delicious!
Saturday we headed over to a friend's house for a Masters party. It ended up being the boys crowded around the TV and the girls in a circle no where to be found. After the party a huge group of people went to Tavern for dinner. It was a long but very fun day! Luckily we were home early so I wasn't tired for the Easter festivities!
Sunday we went to church with Blake's family. The music was perfect and the sermon was great! After church we went to Blake's grandmother's house for lunch.
Later that day we went to Blake's Uncle's house for an Easter dinner and a birthday celebration. I was in charge of bringing the plates, forks, and cups. I saw this adorable set up on Pinterest and couldn't help myself!
Hope you all had a great holiday weekend!
