Weekend in Review

After being out of school for 2 years, I seem to love Vanderbilt more and more. Living in Nashville, Blake and I are able to go to a lot of the football games and still support our undergrad school. This weekend was our "homecoming weekend," a weekend that brings many alums back to campus. It was so nice to see friends I graduated with and some that are older and younger.
Friday, we went to a group dinner at Cabana. It brought back memories of when Cabana was on our "Vandy Card" and we could charge dinner and drinks to our parents.
After Cabana, we headed downtown. We stopped at some of the usual places on Broadway before going back to the familiar Beta frat house.
Saturday, we went to brunch at Boscos and tailgated for the Vanderbilt game.
Saturday night, there was a band at Beta sponsored by the class of 1991 for their 10 year reunion. It was so nice to see the alumni still involved with their fraternity.
After the band finished playing, the DJ went on and it turned into quite the dance party...
Sunday, Blake and I watched football and ran errands. We went to the costume store and got our costumes in order for next weekend. We {well mainly I} also walked around Nordstrom's and looked at all of the eye candy :)
Overall it was a great weekend and I had such a good time with my Vanderbilt friends. It was fun to go back to my old life in college for 2 days, but then also be so happy with my new life. I think even as we get older, we will make an effort to go back each year and stay involved on campus. Hope you all had a good weekend!
