Weekend Recap

Hello everyone! I have been such a bad blogger lately, but working has just kept me so busy. I promise I will be better! 

This weekend was such a great time, and Sunday came way too fast. Friday after work Blake and I went to the lake to celebrate a friend's birthday. We cooked a feast with appetizers, tons of sides, steak, salmon, and dessert. It was so much fun to talk with friends and be away from all of the madness of downtown during CMA fest. 

Saturday we went out on the lake. The weather was perfect. We brought our dog Penny with us, and she seemed to be having a good time {although she was embarrassed about her awful summer haircut}. At least she will be back to her old self in a few weeks when her hair grows in!

After being out on the boat all day, we headed back to Nashville. Blake cooked us some lobsters and potatoes. The meal is really so easy to make and so yummy! 

Sunday morning we woke up and headed out to take some more engagement pictures. We took pictures in February, but we wanted to get some summer pictures also. It was tons of fun and I think they came out great! I will be sure to post some of the pictures when I get them!

Sunday night we went to a shrimp boil for My Pink House's birthday. The party was adorable and the shrimp were awesome!

It was a great weekend, and I am already looking forward to Friday. Happy Monday everyone!
