A Mountain Wedding

This weekend we headed to Dahlonega, GA for a friend's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and a great trip! We left Nashville after work on Friday and started on the 4 hour trek. The drive was actually pretty scenic once we got off the interstate. We passed through a part of town that got hit by the tornado and the damage was incredible.
The accommodations for the wedding were mountain cabins around the area. We arrived at our cabin and found this adorable welcome gift bag. It was personalized with essentials for the weekend along with a full itinerary.
On Saturday, Blake went to play golf with the groom and I went to Atlanta. I had to make some registry returns to Bloomingdales and also got a dress for our upcoming engagement party! It was a short ride from the mountains and totally worth the trip!
The wedding started at 7pm on Saturday night. The venue was a local vineyard that had a gorgeous view! The venue, food, music and company were absolutely perfect.

Sunday morning, we got up and went into downtown Dahlonega. The town is so cute and there are adorable boutiques and antique shops. We had lunch at an oyster bar before heading back to Nashville.

It was an overall great weekend. Congrats to the married couple!
