This weekend was my Dad's birthday and we flew to New York to surprise him! On Friday night, we stayed in Nashville and went to the Beer Garden in East Nashville. I got the Falafel burger with goat cheese and I can say it was right up my alley!
Saturday morning early we left for New York to carry out the plan. Once we got to the house we walked up the entire driveway in order to not make a peep, and then rang the doorbell. My dad was so surprised he didn't even know what to say! We spent the rest of the weekend celebrating!
We walked the High Line, an old railroad track turned into an above ground park!
We went to a Beer Garden.
We ate at a great restaurant, One if by land, Two if by sea.
We went to the Yankees/Mets Game.
I was truly exhausted when we made our way back to Nashville on Sunday night. What a great weekend!

How sweet of you to plan such a special weekend for your dad and keep it a surprise! I'm a Southern girl who recently relocated to the NYC area and I actually did some walking around the high line this weekend too! Love that shirt you're wearing in your pics btw!
