A much needed vacation!

For Labor Day weekend, Blake and I joined some of my family in Naples, Florida for a short vacation. 

 It was so nice to relax and have some time to unwind from the busy summer I had.  For such a short trip, we sure did do a lot.

We went on an airboat tour of the everglades:

We relaxed at the pool and at the beach. It was so nice to get into the ocean! 

I read two books poolside. I finished the Help (which was amazing) and finished another book called Heart of the Matter by Emily Giffin. Both books were definitely great vacation reads!

We had some fun cocktails!

 We went out into Naples for dinner and walked around the little town. "Fifth Avenue" was the main street with all the restaurants and shops. 

It was a great trip!
