Tuesday's Twist on Traditions: Something Borrowed

The Tradition: "Something borrowed" usually comes from a happily married woman who is thought to lend some of her good fortune and joy to the new bride. Typically the bride borrows something from her mother or another female figure in her family.
The Twist: Let Dad or Grandpa have his day by wrapping a bow tie around the base of your bouquet. I am completely obsessed with this idea! I have already asked my dad to find his white bow tie!

SO cute! And something I've not seen done! I am attaching my great-great grandmother's gold locket to my bouquet and suprising my grandmother by doing it.

I really like this idea, except I don't think my dad owns a bow tie...
